Body-wise: A Mindfulness Workshop “Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.” Jim Rohn Deepening awareness of your body is grounding, calms the mind and brings you into the present moment. Spend a morning practicing mindfulness with particular attention to and care of your body, with Body Scan meditation, Walking meditation and Mindful Movement. Connecting to your body in this way increases your appreciation of your body, lessening self-criticism, and enhances your ability to mind your body well. The workshop combines led meditations, reflective exercises and group discussions, and is open to all, regardless of meditation experience.
