Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course
This course introduces you to mindfulness practices and approaches in a down-to-earth, accessible way. You'll learn skills and techniques to help you manage stress and difficult circumstances more effectively and easily, and enhance your appreciation of the good things in your life. Over time, mindfulness promotes greater relaxation, mental clarity, emotional resilience and self-care. The course consists of meditation practices that develop awareness of the body and the breath, mindfulness exercises that you can incorporate into your everyday life, as well as discussions and reflections.
You are asked to commit to a regular, daily practice of mindfulness for the duration of the course, so that you get the maximum benefit from the course. The emphasis throughout the course is on providing students with a supportive context in which to experience Mindfulness
When: Mondays 7.30 - 9.30pm, for 6 weeks, starting date June 2017, tbc
Where: Oscailt Health Centre, 8 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4.
